Description
Cretan sage (Salvia triloba) are wild grown on the mountains of Crete.
The extra-ordinary aroma of its curly grey-green leaves make this species unique and popular in Greece.
The harvesting period begins in June, right after the end of blooming and lasts till August.
Processing of the plants icludes the natural drying under shadow, the mechanical cleaning and sieving and finally the packaging.
This article is the standard quality of Cretan Sage leaves (Salvia triloba).
In Crete, Salvia is used as a culinary herb and as an aromatic plant for herbal infusions or tisanes.
