Cretan sage (Salvia triloba) are wild grown on the mountains of Crete.

The extra-ordinary aroma of its curly grey-green leaves  make this species unique and popular in Greece.

The harvesting period begins in June, right after the end of blooming and lasts till August.

This article's processing includes the plucking of the bigger leaves , the natural drying under shadow and finally the packaging.

In Crete, Salvia is used as a culinary herb and as an aromatic plant for herbal infusions or tisanes.
