Description
Cassia angustifolia or Cassia senna , is a large genus of flowering plants in the legume family Fabaceae, and in the subfamily Caesalpinioideae. We also find them as Egyptian leaves or Alexandria leaves. The fruit is a bean-like pod containing many fruits.
The herb acts as a powerful laxative, antipyretic and colic.
It is used for cases of constipation, as a laxative in iatrogenic constipation, in colonoscopy, in case of hemorrhoids from constipation, to combat infections by E. Coli and Candida albicans.
